Who Is Lloyd Hester

I am very happily married and father to 7 children (four all grown up and 3 younger ones) Born and bred in England.

We love to travel and have lived in the Canary Islands for many years as well as Bali, in Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and other parts of Asia. 

We have now moved back to the Hertfordshire in the UK for a few years. Daniel, my youngest son has a heart condition and has been put on medication which can have severe side effects so we decided to move near to Gt Ormond Street Hospital who look after him.  It took a while for him to get regulayed but now all is good. We now plan to stay in the UK umtil the Katie and Daniel have completed their GCSE’s

We do prefer to live somewhere warmer but we still have homes in Lanzarote and Mallorca so get off as often as we can. We also own a motor home and enjoy showing the kids the beauty that the UK has to offer.

Our intention is to spend as much time as we can traveling the World while we are still young enough to enjoy it and our business on the internet is enabling us to do it. We have become perpetual travelers.

Lloyd’s Background

I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. The first business I had was rebuilding old bicycles which I rescued from the local tip, rebuilding and selling them on, then one day my friend and I found that companies also tipped product samples and out of date products. My 2nd enterprise was born.

Small sample boxes of soap powder, shampoo and other personal toiletries, like Brut for men were posted through letter boxes (or they were supposed to be) but we would find boxes of them in the skip. We would take them home package them up and sell them to neighbours and family.

At 19 I started my first ‘proper’ company.

Crater Electrical was a domestic appliance repair company. An innovative and original name, I am sure you will agree? Made up of my partners name Cray and my surname Hester.

I continued to build a number of businesses until the early 90′s.

I was working with my friend and business partner and we were into nightclubs and commercial property development with assets in excess of £6 million pounds.

With interest rates at 16% and no chance of giving away property let alone selling anything, it all went belly up and we lost everything.

I had just met Sharon a beautiful lady, who has since become my wife, my best friend and mother to 3 of my children.

I moved to Tenerife, in the Canary Islands to work as I thought that if I was to be skint somewhere then I would be better off skint in the sunshine.

19 years on and we are doing ok and life is good.

As I got back on my feet I started building up a property portfolio, we own property in the Canary Islands, the Balearic’s and the UK.

Property is a good investment but it is a pain in the neck to look after and maintain. Virtual real estate is, without a doubt, much better and can be far more profitable.

The internet opens up a world of possibilities to anyone that is able to use a computer. You do not have to have loads of money to start, you do not have to be brain of Britain or a talented designer anyone can do it.

I have had a number of traditional businesses over the years but got interested in internet marketing and websites in the early days of the world wide web but it has only been in recent years that I took it seriously and really began to learn all that I could about making money online.

The trick is not to design a great looking website, although that helps, it is not even to get traffic, the key is to get paying customers visiting in their droves.

Having built a number of successful websites and helped a lot of other people and companies get theirs ranked high for some really highly competitive keywords, I can modestly say that I am pretty good at it and somewhat of an SEO expert. The fact is that it is really simple to do. It is a formula, you just have to do the right things in the right order and work at it.

It does take time effort and persistence but the rewards are well worth it.

The internet is now making it possible for us to live the life we want, where we want, do what we want and most importantly, to have time to spend with the family.

I am always learning and improving and after getting so much duff information and paying thousands of dollars for absolute crap and outdated information over the last few years, I thought it would be nice to pass on this knowledge and see if I can help others to live the life they want as we do.
